Justin communicated personally with both myself and siblings regarding every small detail of the viewing , service, grave site and VA honors. Justin and staff were amazing. They were very considerate of our families feelings and handled us with care. They did a great job with our loved ones body and did their best to accommodate a large crowd. The service for my father, Jerry Masdon, was exceptional. They were very responsible from the very beginning to the end. Every detail we asked for was taken care of- from the video to the military honor guard. My father's family has always used Hillcrest from my grandparents on. In fact I have a special bond with Hillcrest in the fact that my grandfather used to repair their vehicles and I would test drive them with him. I highly recommend them.

Joe Wilson & the entire team could not have been any more wonderful, caring and efficient. I went into the funeral home prior to my husband's death to prepare some of the arrangements. Everything was handled beautifully and with respect. Joe was attentive and thorough. He was very honest about expenses, and things that he thought were not a good use of money. This was not a "no-frills" funeral home, but they didn't nickel and dime me over details. I could not ask for any better of a send-off for my husband; the facility and the people were wonderful! I highly recommend them for your loved one, and encourage folks to have conversations with loved ones so they know your wishes. Joe & his team will guide you through this very difficult process. Thank you Joe, I will forever be in your debt for all you did for our family.

We truly appreciate all of the help and kindness offered to our family after the passing of our mom. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to Joe Wilson, Terry Calhoun, Ken Austin, and Anthony Grant for how they combined their top-notch professionalism with sincere compassion for us. Having them walk with us as we approached and arrived at the moment of saying goodbye to our sweet mother was a source of tremendous comfort and support, and every step of her final journey was handled flawlessly. We knew we - and our Mom - would be in good hands from that first phone call to Higgins, to driving up to such an exquisitely beautiful building, through our planning consultation with Joe. He went over details we had not thought of, and responded to follow-up questions promptly. The pricing was well below what we had anticipated, but definitely without any reduction in quality. We are profoundly grateful for their service, and recommend them highly.

In my time of grief & pain of loosing my mother - joe (owner) met me at the front door of the funeral home - from that moment on he made me feel like family - they did a wonderful job of preparing my mom for the viewing - I especially liked the way her hair was done - the staff at Hillcrest were so kind & humble to our family - they fully understood our sadness on that day - joe picked out a song by Alan Jackson

i have made many visits to this funeral home last 40 years.i have not been there since new folks have taken over.but i have had a fb talk with mr joe.i found him to honest and friendly.i have always found this building to be very clean and beautiful.would suggest any family needed there service give them a call...

These guys are the absolute best.
So much compassion and professionalism. When my daddy passed in early January my mom wanted an evening viewing and service then the graveside next late morning and they made it happen.
Another well-known funeral home wasn’t willing to accommodate our requests and boy are we sure glad they didn’t.
Service was beautiful, the guys gave us and Dad the utmost respect and it was appreciated.

Hillcrest Chapel is a top of the line funeral home. After another well known funeral home refused to accommodate my service arrangements, Hillcrest had no hesitation at all. They went out of their way to accommodate the unique way I requested to have our arrangements for my precious husband. While being highly skilled and professional, we still felt their down home warmth and caring. They handled my sweetheart with the utmost respect and honor while preserving his dignity.
Pricing was the most affordable I found and service was in no way sacrificed for cost.
I highly recommend Hillcrest and will be forever grateful for their participation in the most peaceful transition we could have ever hoped for.
