Zola Eloise Hyland

Zola Eloise Hyland, precious daughter of Patrick Lee Hyland and Amber Marie Godwin Hyland, was born silently into the arms of Jesus on February 26, 2026, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Though her time on earth was brief, Zola’s life was deeply meaningful. From the very first moment she was known, she was endlessly wanted and endlessly loved. She brought immeasurable joy, hope, and anticipation to her family, and her tiny footprints have left an everlasting imprint on their hearts.

In addition to her parents, Zola is lovingly survived by her paternal grandparents, Penny and Steven Pelkey; her maternal grandmother, Shawn Dooley-Godwin; and her maternal grandfather, Greg Godwin. She is also cherished by extended family members who awaited her arrival with great excitement and who will forever hold her memory close.

Though we never heard her cry or saw her grow, Zola’s life reminds us that love does not depend on time. In her stillness, she taught those around her the depth of unconditional love and the strength of a family’s bond. Her name will be spoken with tenderness, her memory carried gently, and her spirit treasured always.

A daughter so deeply hoped for, so beautifully loved, and so forever missed.
