Nancy Renay "Nay Nay" Holcombe, of Newnan, passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 57.
Born on September 7, 1968, in Riverdale, Georgia, Nay Nay was the only daughter among eight children born to the late Cecil Holcombe and the late Jesse Jones Holcombe. Nay Nay's early years were filled with the laughter and camaraderie that only a large family can provide. While she loved all of her siblings, she shared an unbreakable bond with her brother, Robby, and together they navigated the joys and challenges of growing up in a bustling household. Her Baptist faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and guiding her actions with compassion and grace. As a mother and grandmother, Nay Nay's heart knew no bounds. She reveled in the simple pleasures of life, such as watching her boys play baseball, and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Nay Nay's approach to friendship was unique and profound. She didn't just make friends; she forged lifelong bonds that were as deep as they were meaningful. Her generosity was legendary, and she gave of herself freely and without expectation. Her legacy is one of love and generosity, traits that defined her as a person. Nay Nay's loving nature was the beacon that guided her through life's journey, and her generosity was the gift that she bestowed upon all who crossed her path. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rick Holcombe and Ray Holcombe.
Survivors include her children, Jud Holcombe, Mandi Cole (Michael), Stephanie Morrow (Chris), Nick Townsend (Jen), and Cody Holcombe; brothers, Randy Holcombe (Debbie), Rusty Holcombe (Tammy), Ronny Holcombe (Miranda), and Robby Holcombe; grandchildren, Andrew Holcombe, Des Meyer (Jay), Blayze Holcombe, Jude Wiseman, Bentley West, Levi Holcombe, Ryker Holcombe, Jesse West, and Kolby Townsend; several nieces and nephews; and one great-grandchild on the way.
